The Capital University Sports Dance Competition, dedicated to promoting students' physical and mental health, cultivating their character, and enhancing their overall cultural literacy, has long been cherished and widely participated in by students. On May 24, 2025, the 16th edition of the competition was successfully held at Renmin University of China. Co-organized by the Beijing Municipal University Sports Association and the Beijing Municipal University Sports Association Sports Dance Branch, and hosted by Renmin University of China, the event saw participation from 39 universities. The competition received strong support and attention from leaders of the University Sports Association, university administrations, and sports departments. Through meticulous coordination and organization by the committee, the event proceeded smoothly. The atmosphere was electric, with dancers shining brightly on stage and delivering a spectacular cultural feast of sports dance.

The BUCT Ballroom Dance Team secured 5th place in the overall team standings!
The team claimed four 1st places, six 2nd places, three 3rd places, and multiple top-eight finishes, accumulating a total of 117 points to earn the 5th-place team award.
