詹瑾 Zhan Jin, Associate Professor, counselor for graduate students at the Department of Art and Design, Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

Education:

She holds a Ph.D. in Art and Engineering from Japan and completed postdoctoral research at BUCT College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. She is a member of the Standardization Committee of the China Ergonomics Society, China Fashion Association, and the Japan Society of Art and Design.

Research Focus:

Barrier-free design, universal design, ergonomics, human-computer interaction

Key Achievements:

Conducted the first comparative study on body structures among Chinese and Japanese women aged 60+ using 3D data.

Introduced and translated the book ‘Universal Fashion Design’ to fill the gap and help the development of related field. During the six years after graduation, she has been working in enterprises to transform theory into practical application, serving companies such as BMW, TOTAL, Lumiere Cinema, and so on.

Participated in the national key research and development project ‘Demonstration of high safety active protection green anti-epidemic materials and industrial application’, presided over the ‘Shell and tube heat exchanger strengthened heat transfer key technology related to industrial design research’, ‘Based on ergonomics of the appearance of the coal mine underground protective mask structure and the design of the outer packaging research and development’ and other projects. 

Published more than 10 papers in SCI and EI journals.
