Meng Xue, holding a Ph.D. in Arts, served as an Associate Professor Trainee in Digital Media Art at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), and was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Information Science and Technology. Her research primarily focuses on audiovisual cultural production, film and television aesthetics, and the international dissemination of film and television works. Over the past five years, she has led three research projects, including the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Project "Cultural Practices and Value Co-creation of Short-Form Video Digital Folklore from the Perspective of Media Affordance (25YJC760075)," the Sichuan Provincial Key Research Base Project "Image Construction and Value Generation of Animated Virtual Characters in Audiovisual Programs (DM202317)," and the Central University Basic Research Fund Project "Research on the International Communication of Realistic TV Dramas in the Context of Media Convergence (ZY2107)." She has also participated as a core member in major projects such as the National Social Science Fund Major Project "Research on the High-Quality Innovative Development of Chinese Film and Television in the Process of Building a Cultural Powerhouse (21ZDA079)" and the National Social Science Fund Art Project "Research on the Precision Enhancement Path for the International Communication Efficacy of Chinese Online Dramas (24CC201)." She has published over 20 academic papers in journals including Modern Communication, China Television, and Television Research. In terms of teaching, she has led one project for the Beijing Higher Education Society and has offered seven courses in Digital Media Art, including "Audiovisual Language," "Storyboard Design," and "Interaction Design."
